如果您的微笑得不到回应，不要紧；
如果您的礼敬换来无理，不要紧；
如果您的心人换来背叛，不要紧；
如果他人不愿意回馈你的善行，不要紧；
如果真能做到了，您就走在‘德’的大道上。
您的怨言，失望和受伤，都源自您自己自私的心。
无所求的，持续，再持续地在这大道上迈进。
那么这条大道，就会是‘道’之路。

The way(Dao)
It should not matter if your smile is not returned.
It should not matter if your politeness is returned with rudeness.
It should not matter if your help is unappreciated.
It should not matter if your trust is betrayed.
It should not matter if someone does not return your favour.
If you had done so you have walked the path of “De”.
You resentment, disappointment and hurt arisen from your ego.
Continue and continue this path with no expectations.
And this path would soon turn into the road of “Dao”.
